Inspired By Romantic Prairie and Farmhouse Romance Styles

I am so excited as I have just preordered Fifi O" Neill's Romantic Prairie Style Book.  I have been reading alot of blogs that are decorating in this style, prairie, farmhouse, shabby ranch etc. Some of the people whom I have been following are in this book!  I love how they are taking vintage with the french and shabby style elements and adding more simple lines for a look I feel would suit both male and female, leather and lace, diamonds and rust........., right up my alley.   I am fervently researching magazines, blogs, books in order to change my  dark Mediterranean Ranch decor with alot more touches of Vintage Romantic Prairie style.  I have a link to the preorder of this book on my sidebar!

Here is my room with the small changes I made yesterday I took a black and white quilt with blue blankets and euro's off the bed and added a little fru fru, I am still looking to make or buy some muslin euro shams, or possibly burlap to add a little texture to this look I would like to add ruffled muslin curtains as well but I am happy with the look that the small changes have made.  Thanks for the input on my post asking for suggestions!
I searched reviews on bedding at Anthropologie and Potterybarn , however the best reviews and of course best price was The Simply shabby Chic comforter ala Target, I have had issues with the higher end comforters before so Money does not always buy better quality. I thought I would give this line a try, Hey easier to replace in the futre than the 500-600 or more range that it would cost if I chose the other stores and the reviews were very mixed.
I do want to add some muslin euro's as euro shams did not come with this set or perhaps burlap.......
My sister offered my Grandmothers crackly white English antique Pitcher and Wash Basin, as she has modern decor.  I have cleared a spot for it right here!!

You should have seen this bathroom before we renovated it.  I will post pictures another time. it had horrid green crumbling  moldy tile and there was a wall between tub and window the shower was a cave.........we put  travertine tile and knocked out walls, I love it now but want a little more Vintage elements added......will be working on that and having fun hunting!!  Yesterday I did add the simply shabby chic towels again ala Target , the little ruffles were too cute!
