Here are some cool things I found this past weekend to add a little farmhouse/Prairie style romance to my  Texas Ranch House!

A new antique mall opened in town and I just had to go.........
This is what I found, very chippy white, over 2-3 layers of other colors that are showing through in the corner

This will go up on one of the wood walls to lighten up the look

Pottery Barn "Rouched" Euro's to go with my Target Shabby Chic set, the Target set
did not have Euro's and I was going to make some but I saw these and fell in love.

Then I went to Anthropology and found these porcelain Rose Knobs to add to my Coffee and end table
Still undecided about painting these tables or leaving natural.................

another Anthro find, I added a porcelain knob to my Curio as well to replace the wood and gold toned one,  I may paint this curio white......will I regret it, will I be stripping it off 10 years from now??
I found this little antique end table that was in horrible condition for 14.00 at same antique shop as window pane, I may still paint it white but I put some oil on it and a rose and I may just keep it the way it is.....
I am so electic and indecisive with to paint or not to paint, color or nuetral.............

I put a crystal platter on top for glasses to be sat, I am looking at a galvanized serving platter with handles that I like at Pb to add later

I don't know White or wood.........someone could paint a No 5 on this little panel at the bottom.........
But the wood is well very vintage and pretty.....ahhhhhhhhhhh

I did put the other hutch that matches this one exactly on laway and it will flank the other side of the fireplace it will for sure be painted and distressed!, My husband brought his
cowhide down from the attic,  Leather and lace, needs more lace.........

OK YA'll I am asking for some help, I am begging the Deocrator in you to follow the link and read my longer post with pictures of my house, what We have done with our 1979 Ranchouse Renvoation so far and well tell me what you think and help me decide, is it.........................

If you have read this far you need to back up and follow the link..........help........

  1. Hi Sherry!

You have a lovely home. I looked at your other link. What a great Pantry and kitchen space you have. I bet you just love to cook in there. I love your bedding and bathroom. I wouldn't change a thing. Great unique window find, too. Have you considered putting shelving units around your fireplace? I think that would look nice. Love all the changes you have made.

    Have a wonderful day!
