Leather and Lace or a Crayola Box??? 1979 Ranchouse Renovation and decor

I am still working on my living room and have put the second hutch to flank my fireplace on layaway... Here  are pics so far but this is a work in progress and it would go faster if I could decide what to do.........
I know I want burlap, white linene, muslin with light colors and different textures for pillows and ottoman cover and may make them but am looking on etsy, Pb and Anthro for ideas

I went to Anthro and found the prettiest white porcelain Rose knobs to existing furniture, still cannot decide wether to paint white..............and the oak curio in the corner if white would really lighten up the area, but will I regret painting beautiful oak wood white.........will I be trying to strip it in a few years..........

I put some fresh roses in old antique jars and put the canning jars in a wrought iron candle holder

I still cannot decide on a darker italian/wrought iron type Chandelier or keep the Vintage Ranch style wagon wheel and bronze lighting.............or ......shabby the vintagewagon wheel light white..............oh my what to do..........
Added my husbands Cowhide to the floor and the mediterranean sun ceilings look very ranchy and rustic.....should they be linen white or a latte color??????????????????

I am pondering on white curtains but am afraid to obstruct the pool view, our neighbor in the back has 20 acres and we get to see sheep graze and our pool from this room. Curtains would also cover deatail on the woodwork above the windows, the outdoor area is the focal point when shades are up

When the shades are down you can still see outside but it looks very dark inside this is when I contemplate making this a white wall of curtains..................
.

 and My Big Dilemna continues..........

I have recently been wondering if I have just a little too much color, my previous influenc was very italian/mediterranean/Texas Ranch style..................I am now being influenced by Country Living, Romantic Country, and Many blogs out there who are going to a rustic/shabby chic look and I am wondering...................Does my house look like a crayola box, should I go white, beige, with a little chocolate???????????????????? Or should I just add alot more white/vintage accents with the colors that I have???????????????Oh what to do........

Here are some Pictures of my 1979 Renovate Texas Ranch HouseTell me what you think.

Small Entryway with Oak Wrought Iron and leaded glass Lonestar Door, (We are a Texas Ranchhouse)We added accents Olive Green to match the original intricate tilework that came with the house, I just had to leave some of the original character and I loved this floor it was so spanish revival! we added oak trim throughout.

I carried the olive green to the Kitchen, We scraped every popcorn ceiling in the house and
retuxtured ceiling and walls and painted the whole house ourselves. We professionally added granite counters
I do not have open concept however I can see my guest/family in the living room and there is plenty of room in the kitchen for them to come hang out!

I was going for a tuscan feel but I am so electic  I don't know what I ended up with!
See my Slice gold/yellow hall......We did keep the flooring that was in the kitchen I love the brightness it adds to the space and it was in wonderful condition!

I did paint the paneling on the dining area wall white and also at the breakfast bar but I left the cabinets
as they are a beautiful wood, I took all the gold handles off and have the same ones throughout the house, they have a stone in the center and I covered that and painted them oil rubbed bronze

There is no carpet in the house the living, hall and bedrooms have the handscraped hardwoods we had professionally put in

Now on to the  Pantry/Laundry
If you put a Pantry Door on the Laundry room and add shelving
Can you  call it a Pantry?? Haha

I saw a really cute Laundry sorter  with three linen bins on rollers with chrome that would fit in this area perfectly in place of the wicker bin with just one option, but that will be another time............

I opted for these instead of curtains to make the room look bigger but does it look cold and bare without curtains??

My best friends! And when the window is open this room just shines!

Just kidding!!!!!

I added a Container store metro industrial strenth shelve/reminds me of my restaraunt days
And I love black and white tin signs

Juiced and Waffled black and whites by door to garage

This room gets alot of natural sunlight, with the yellow and the light I do not have to use any lighting during the day. I have a view of a neighbors pond and ducks outside of this window, the same view out the kitchen, dining and Sewing room

Lets go down the Gold slice hall

Old Ranch house has all the rooms down this hall to the left is Daughters room, then guest bath then
the parisian sewing room (there is a link to the parisian Mom cave on my sidebar titled this is where I create come on in)
On the right is the office/sunroom and then Master Bedroom

Mediterranean Garden mirror, has a latch and you can open it up

This house is alot of windows you can see striaght through the entryway, through the office sunroom to the pool and  Neighbors sheep beyond that! Sunroom has french doors to master and living areas and a door to the pool

You can see from the kitchen or living room through the sets of french doors all the way to the master bath, or you can pull down natural blinds throughout all windows and doors for privacy, depends on the mood

Very Mediterranean sunroom that matches the mediterranean style pool these both came with the house when we bought it, floor is saltillo tile this is my office area I can turn chair to left and look through
french doors and see and here our TV, I can see who is at the front door through the entryway and I can see the dining and kitchen, if I turn this chair around to right I can see master, all the way backwards and I see pool and acreage I spend alot of time in the room............and so do my two dogs and a cat when not running and playing outback. I have my beloved treadmill in here so I can look outside and think about what I have to look like in a suit if I do not use it. .I do the secratarial work for my husbands tool company MSH Tool, he is a patented inventor whom developed a tool for the drilling industry we have had our business for 10 years MSH Tool, my husband is also a welding boss for a large Pipeline company in the North texas area, and I am his secratary for our home business when not Sewing (ShantyGirl) and blogging.......and a lil cleaning and decorating........This room  could be painted white...........with different accents for a whole new look but it does match the pool as it is............I just must think on it a bit.........

Now to the Master

I love horses and really really want one, we are zoned for one honey......................and Abby wants one........and a couple of chickens?? Wait we have a pool...........but there is room for both with the proper fencing..............................We can sit by the pool and watch the horse po--

We  just about gutted this bathroom, it had crumbling in 30 year old green tile with two walls and you could not see this window, the tub was so small I could not stretch out,  it is not the largest master bath but we love the openess of the glass shower it helps to make it look bigger and we love our soaking tub, I am tall and I can stretch out and i have a handheld shower attachment ! I will take pics of the double sink with black silestone another day  (needs a cleaning) ooops

On to the guest bath

For the guest bath we had to take down several colors of wallpaper that did not match, the bath area had americana and the powder area had ocean fish..................there were 1970's gold globes hanging,
We had the romanstone tile done professionally, We textured the walls and painted using a potterybarn blue
I chose the Delta Victorian faucets throughout the house in oil rubbed bronze, we put undermount sinks
and the bathrooms both have silestone counters. I chose a silver framed mirror for the powder area

A few paris black and whites on each side of the sink, a black and white striped scentsy plug in to keep things fresh, target shabby chic towels, we replaced all the cheap wood doors in the house, I painted them all, husband hung them and put on the hardware and he did all the woodwork around the doors and floorboards

This was a 30 year old cast iron tub that we had recoated looks like new, we added the oil rubbed bronze glass shower door it made the small area look much bigger than hanging a shower curtain. We used large 18 inch tiles
in a diamond pattern on the floor, less grout to clean!!!

I know I am showing off the toilet right??????? but it is victiorian styled and I had tile put all the
way around each of the toilets as it is much easier to keep clean than a textured wall, I saw this in most hotels and loved the look

My daughters room is perfectly purple, has antique bed and cute doll houses and a vanity that I Painted, but well that room is not presentable right now.........

So I have Spanish Mediterranean, Tuscan, Parisian and Vintage style Texas in my home with with alot of color

So what do you think???.........be honest I can take it!! I am looking for decorating direction!!!

Have I achieved an electic Farmhouse romance Look?

Or am I just living in a CRAYOLA BOX?

Thanks Ya'll,  for taking the time to look at this post and comment I  sure do owe you one!!!!!
