Lakeside Home Inspiration and a couple changes to my blog, and a giveaway coming soon!
I have been changing up my blog a bit and wanted to update my banner to reflect more of my style. My post and interest have been leaning towards decor and antiques as hubby and I have been doing "hicks picks" (our last name is hicks, hahah) to add antique finds to my online shop and decorate our home so I wanted my space to reflect my love for decor and antiques and not just that I make bags and aprons. The old farmhouse in the blog banner was my Great aunt annies in bowling green Kentucky. I am still searching for a good front picture of the farmhouse I lived in as a child. Those are distant relatives of mine on the porch.
When I took a break from designing my blog or attempting to I had to look up some decor inspiration and look what I found! A beautiful Alabama lake property.source
I love the mix of old with new, metals with wood, layers of texture
These photos are making it to my inspiration clipboard
Can I just say "wow"
Perfect blend of elegance with casual
How's that for a guest room and bath??
Nice master this room is a play on neutral textures so soothing!
I would never want to leave
This is another guest room with a lake view
The halls and stairway are definitely something to feast your eyes on. I love the lighting fixtures, they are
so different from each other but yet it all flows together so well. I just wanted to share what inspired me this morning!
