Today's Painted projects

I have been playing with colors today, using greys, yellows, aqua's whites, pinks no blues today.........you know how I love me some french blue's  but not today.  These are items completed and I have 5 more shelves, magazine racks etc drying waiting to be antiqued and distressed.  I was lucky to sell 4 of my magnetic chalkboards using vintage frames that I just put in my booth on saturday (Thanks so much to my wonderful customers who have shopped my booth!) and I sold  a mirror I hung on Saturday and my side wall is naked again.

If I find a vintage item in perfect condition then I leave it alone as I love original patina.  However alot of my items need a little decorator touch..   I hand paint, distress, wax all my items no spray paint no mass market production, I treat each piece as if I am doing it for myself to put on my wall.

Here are today's finished items waiting to get tagged and go down to my Shanty Chateau Booth at Pickers Point

The old cross back stepladder was a barn find very very vintage!  I love two toning aqua and white and will try the combination I used on the wine case to a 1890's-1910 side table I will be doing later this week that my hubby picked for me (he brought home a truckload)  Thing is my sister and I also brought home a truckload so I have way more furniture than booth space, I am selling well and considering expanding my space or going into two separate malls

I took a shelve and painted yellow and grey heavy distress to show wood, antiqued, waxed and put antique glass knobs

The small shelve is wrought iron done in antique white, the wood was done in grey, antiqued and distressed and waxed. Pink shelve was antiqued I added vintage button truffles to the top arch

Taking these in tomorrow to help fill the holes and then diggin in to some furniture and apron sewing later this week!

Off to paint some more!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday

Today is my hubby's Birthday wich we celebrated all weekend long however, I may want to get this paint off of me and out of my hair fore he comes home...........
