A French Provencial Dresser used as a shelve

Still working on the booth.........

Just wanted to show the French Provencial Dresser that my husband brought home as a shell no drawers, the one I said "what in the world are we going to do with that"  and he said "dugh make a shelve".................
Here it is ,we hung it in booth at Lonestar I painted it blue per my inspiration pics a few post back of a stark white chippy surrounding and a touch of blue as the focal point.
Tada, Don't pass up that dresser that has all the drawers missing if the frame is good here was my hubbies Idea on what to do to save this one from the Landfill, he picks I paint........Tell me what you think of our
"French Provencial Shelve"

This is what she looked like when hubby brought her home............I was not sure what he was thinking at the time......

A closer look, if you ever decide to do this keep in mind you will need to paint the entire inside of dresser top bottom and sides and even underneath the dresser, I used Louis Blue chalkpaint with dark wax and inside I used the Benjamin Moore Dove White that is the same as the wall, since piece is backless I wanted it to blend, I am going to put birds nests/branches in top drawers...............Want it to be fun and funky!

Husband found and hung the Fireplace on doors, he also found me the porch ballisters, pieces
that are getting harder to come by but my picker found them!!

Monday we are putting in Furniture and Merchandise and open for business!  It will of course take a few more days to fill the booth up, layer by layer

Have a Happy New Year Everyone!!
