Progress in my Shabby French Ranch Home
Cole and I have been painting our ...................... off.......It has been alot of long days covered in paint.. We still have curtains to hang cleaning floors lighting fixtures, yard sale to have this weekend, furniture to pick up so it will still be another two weeks before all is fluffed and picture ready but here is just a little progress pic and wanted to share a few of my new pretty's to go in the room
I am of course in love with all things Shabby Chic but also love French Farmhouse style and hey I live in Texas so a little western mixed in , I am loving the Shabby French Ranch Atmosphere my 1979 Texas Ranch Style home is taking on.
We also have a cowhide rug to paint after my inspiration while at the Prairie, on the floor in Rangers lounge is a cowhide that is painted silver and white........gotta do it, I had posted a question on Rachel Ashwell's facebook asking her the process if it was spray paint and she was awesome to respond but it was already done when found and she was not sure the process so I think I can I think I can pics soon! She also stated the light blue color on the door of the lilliput lodge was a farrow and ball but did not have the color deck with her, I thought that was nice to respond.

I can't believe the huge amount of energy you both have, Sherry! Wow!! lol! But everything is looking soooooo beautiful! Thanks Laurie Yes I have been messing with my blog in the evenings and made new business cards for my booth that are the same way It is fun I like to play with computers......love love love your header!!

ReplyDeleteYou have kicked some major -ss on your home ! Geez, I agree with Laurie, you've the energy of a 5 year old!! Ok maybe not a five year old.... LOL! Seriously, you've worked so hard,and it looks absolutely perfect already!!! Love all your RA pretties!!! Also, when you said you emailed Rachel, did you mean Rachel Ashwell? If so, that's awesome that she responded to you. Very happy to know that. When I was at her Soho store a couple weeks ago, the sales guy said that she was coming to New York to live for the winter. Anyway, maybe I'll bump into her, we shall see!!! Can't wait to see the reveal in a couple weeks!

I wrote incorrectly, I need to change that She was very sweet to respond to me when I posted a question on her Facebook, this was shortly after my arriving home from the Prairie I also asked her what color of front door on the prairie lilliput lodge and she said it was farrow and ball and that she was out of town and did not have the color card, I thought it was nice of her to respond to those questions!
