My Hubby's Vintage finds

My husband is a true picker, he immediately developed an eye for the items I was looking for to fill my booth.  Since I sew and handpaint furniture there is not as much time to hunt.  I still go to auctions and estate sales but do not have as much time as previously.

Everyday it is like waiting on Santa at Christmas becuase I never know what goodie my husband has found.

Here are just a few of the items my husband picked recently

This chair came to me with dark wood and old upholstery
new fabric and some  AS chalkpaint in Duck Egg with dark wax for antiquing........

Look at the detail, My husband did well

How about this French/Hollywood regency style shelve that will go perfect as is in my new second booth location @ Uniques Gallery Antiques

Or the beautiful picture frame that all I had to do was add some bling around the edge and paint with magnetic and chalk paint

This beautiful Florentine from Italy that is very similiar to the one Rachel Ashwell has in her last book........

Awwww, now that is some good pickin.  Our last name is Hicks so I joke all the time
"Hicks Picks" ....................

Love you honey and thanks for all that you do!  You are wonderful!
