Parisian Sunroom Inspiration
Over the next Month or two I will be looking for sunroom Pictures for inspiration. I really want to lighten up my sunroom here is a picture of a house in France that is on the market and I just wanted to share. I have the saltillo floors already I would just need to paint and go junkin ........
I cannot decide wether there should be just a few chairs, or it should be another dining area or a reading napping area?? I do not have an ocean view but this is my yard looking at my sunroom so you can get a good idea of what the sunroom views.
These are some things I would love to have from ShabbyChic.com
My Sunroom is a 19 by 24 area and is for the most part other than the office not used..........it has just never been a comfortable area..

I would love to save my pennys for the above, I am unsure of the price. If that does not work out well.

Dining looking into sunroom, it is so dark that you cannot photograph the sunroom
Office area of the sunroom, orangey.........................getting tired of it
something like This would be more pleasant................
My Hubby and I are going to some Flea Markets this month, we want to go to Canton in Feb or March and Maburger is coming in March....and of course Fifi's book will be out soon for more inspiration, I hope to have my living room and sunroom refreshed for summertime enjoyment.
Can you tell I have summer on my mind??? Oh and the backyard picture was taken in the summer we are having nice weather today in Texas but not that nice........
Thanks for looking, if you have any inspirational pictures of sunrooms or white rooms with saltillo flooring I would love to see them! I sure would appreciate it.

Hi Sherry, you have a great room to work with. I do think painting it a light color will do wonders. Maybe a sisal rug to warm it up a little, and comfy sofa and chairs. You have a huge space. Let us know how you're progressing. Thanks for linking up with VIF!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Debra

I agree...paint the sun room white and go junking this summer...would be so much fun to put it together! I am so happy that you like your Daniel Boone pillow. I am 52 years old and have been sewing since I was 8. We had to make all our own clothes by that age...there were 4 girls all a year apart in age. Mom taught the two older ones and they taught us two younger ones. Mom's motto...make your own clothes or go naked. We made our own clothes but didn't have very many...now I do fun stuff like pillows and buy my clothes!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to snow here the next few days-so I'll try and go thru some books to see what I can come up with for you-looks like you're on the right track!
ReplyDeleteOh I would love any inspiration photos!!! Thanks so much!

Hi Sherry,
ReplyDeleteThe size of your sun porch is wonderful..painting all of the walls and ceiling a creamy white will do wonders for brightening it up. You've go so many possibilities in there..it's a great space.
Oh, and I'll take that house in France any day! How beautiful!!
I'm visiting for Porch Club Monday. I'd love to have you drop by my porch when you have a moment.
