My Hall
I painted a table this week and put it in the sunroom but today I put it here
This is a very small entrayway just a place to hang a jacket and get through! but it needed something
I put my Granny's blue mason jar in my enamelware basin and red roses in it (I love red roses and these smell so good!) I keep picking up petals around the house and
I dumped them in the basin and hopefully after this summer the basin will be full of dried petals I may add some lavender to make the hall smell nice!
I hope that each an everyone of you has a wonderful mothers day !!!
Enjoy every second with your family, I miss my mother so and wrote a song for her that I will post with her tribute of pictures over the weekend. I am doing well I am ready to start smiling!!
Your hallway looks so pretty. I love the chippiness and color of the little side table.

It's lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty Sherry, I think it looks perfect there and I love the idea of filling the bowl with rose petals. I am so glad that you are doing well. :) Hugs to you.

Oh Sherry I love the color palette... you've done a nice job and the table vignette is beautiful, the Aqua Glass against the Roses is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my Cinco de Mayo Post... OMG, if I'd worked in a Mexican Restaurant for that many years I'd be an even bigger Gordita than I am now! *LOL* Love the food too... but I limit my intake of Latin foods since I tend to OD on them. *winks* Today I made an exception... for lunch I had a Chile Relleno and Cheese Enchilada with Spanish Rice & Refried Beans... the obligatory Chips & Salsa... and what I photographed was up for the Dinner Menu in Mi Casita... after that... a LONG Siesta... Dawn... The Bohemian
Love that little entry table! Great idea to add rose petals to the enamel bowl. Very pretty! I know this Mother's Day will be hard but I hope you enjoy it with your daughter.

Such a sweet look. That table is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI miss my mom too. This can be a very bittersweet time of year.
Hello
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for the loss of your mom, it is hard for us but so wonderful for them. I lost my dad a few years ago now, I can't believe it has been 3 years now. I do miss him but knowing he is dancing with Jesus makes my heart glad.
I pray this mom's day finds you extra joy and peace that can only come from the spirit of Christ in us.
PS I love your hallway, very nice...
Blessings
Rebecca
